Tested to UL 1482
- As a floor protector, Woodstove Designer
Blocks provide protection equivalent to 3/8" Asbestos Millboard. As
wall protection with Woodstove Designer Blocks placed directly on combustible
wall surface, the room heater clearance can be reduced by 1/3 (33-1/3 percent).
When Woodstove Designer Blocks are installed on 5/8" gypsum wallboard
with a 1" ventilated space in front of the combustible wall, a 2/3
(66-2/3 percent) reduction of the room heater clearance can be accomplished.

How to Start
- Simply select the shape and style that best
suits your stove, room size, and decor. Our suggested
designs show some of the more popular settings
possible with this system, or alternately you can design your own by simply
using graph paper. Provisions for a wood storage area may be desired as
shown on some styles. In most installations, two different styles are used,
one for the wall area and another for the floor. One even shows Log Round
squares being spotted into a Basket Weave Brick wall. We think it was a
super idea. Should the need arise, the blocks can be scored and snapped
to create half blocks, etc. Wood mantle and edging may be added as desired.
- By using our Crown Hill Adhesive Mortar Mix,
they can be applied directly to drywall (plaster board), sheetrock, etc.
- Your Dealer stocks all of the necessary materials
and easy-to-follow planning and instruction sheets to assure a beautifully
rustic woodstove
installation.
